"No David"

Tonight we were reading the book "No David" about a little boy who is always up to mischief. The book doesn't really have many words, but tells the story mainly through pictures. It has actually won an award for its pictures. While we were reading it Grayson kept flipping the pages saying "No, no, no" (because that is what the mom in the story says ALOT). At one point David gets sent to time out with a very sad face; at this point, Gabriel started crying hysterically and Grayson quickly flipped to the end of the book were the mom is hugging David and telling him she loves him. She says "Yes, David, I love you". Grayson gave me a BIG smile when we read that part and Gabriel stopped crying. Apparently, time out is devastating.
