Visit with Great, Great Grandma

Amelia and I made the trip from Florida to Chicago and then down to Champaign, Urbana to visit her Great Grandma Wanda and her Great Great Grandma Irma. She did so well on the plane; everyone telling me how beautiful she is (which happens all the time). She stayed awake for the entire flight and slept through the night for the first time at Grandma Wanda's. First thing Monday morning we made the drive to Urbana where Grandma is living in an assisted living facility. We had a nice visit with her, Nancy Paden, and Uncle Jim and Aunt Peggy. Grandma Irma could remember when her own children were infants and could remember nursing them and all that goes into the care of an infant. At one point she remarked "When you have them all you wonder how you'll do it and then suddenly it is over." she must have told me 20 times how strong Amelia was and she just loved holding her.
